Field Guide Reviewers Urgently Needed

In La Casa's library I have placed a collection of field guides (FGs) to URU ages (lower right, second shelf from the bottom). I culled the information from the guide posts on the old forum. Because I was writing these after the Cavern closed I did not have access to the MOUL ages -- Minkata, Jalak, the pod ages, Tsogal and Delin, as well as the online variations for Ahnonay, Ercana, Teledahn and Kveer.

There are errors in the books, as well as a need to include the live version. As folks come to the Cavern again, I want these books to offer the highest quality, most accurate information possible presented in an explorer-friendly manner. The FGs were designed to present graduated information -- an overview as anyone would see the area upon entering, including the placement of items within the area. Following that is what the explorer should be attempting to do. The actual answer is only presented when the explorer wants it. The preceding page has red warning text that clicking to the next page will give the answer. This way folks have the option to figure it out on their own or have the specifics if they have just given up. FGs are image files in an HTML format. We can therefore give both visual as well as text clues.

The books were created primarily for the solo game because that was all that was available at the time, but I wanted to document all the information our guides posted to the old forum, so MOUL information is there. Because we do not know if this return will be permanent we have to include both versions of the information. I will be marking the information that is specific to solo, and your suggestions on how to do this will be most welcomed. Because so many of the differences are minor I think we should keep solo variations within the same explanation in the FG. For those ages that are only available in one version (Watchers in solo; Jalak in MOUL) the entire book can be marked on the cover as solo or MOUL.

FG reviewers are encouraged to suggest better ways to present the information. You may submit your suggestions and corrections in plain text or .PNG .JPG or .GIF image files. I will take the updates, code them into the book format used in La Casa's library and upload them to the website. We can also copy the entire FG collection and post it here on the forum. To make this work efficiently, I suggest that we divide the ages up -- pick your favorite or the one at which you feel most adept -- and lay "claim" to it in this forum thread. Form teams if need be (necessary for Ahnonay, Tsogal and Delin) and work through the FG in tandem with the age in MOUL. Please check everything, even if it looks correct on the page. The following poll is not a vote, but a suggestion list so that we can see what areas are being covered and by how many. The more reviewers for each age, the better. Nor are you restricted to a single choice.

I have grouped some books together while in other cases books were never created. I do not have books for Jalak or for the Pods (Negilahn, Dereeno, Payiferen and Tetsonot) nor is there much instruction for live KI use. The FG for Watcher's is for the solo version and should be updated to include information about the guilds. Because there was no MOUL at the time, we have an opportunity to create really wonderful hint books that will re-acquaint us with the ages and be of value to all those who come to us for help.

This is a project that I really want to share will everyone. Please help.
