Pelishard is open!!

The Pelishard is public now but...it's NOT Cyan approved so not sure what that's all about. Even though it's a 'rogue' shard it might still be a good place for folks to regroup and connect while we wait for the source codes to be released.

Possibly the confusion from Cyan giving the okay for it, yet not giving the okay to discuss it on the MOUL board. Sounds odd.

I do think you can sign up to join the forum before loading. Perhaps going there and talking to others or at least seeing what's going on would be wise. Or hang out in SL and ask others.

There is a thread on the GOW forum warning people about the shard as well. I guess I should have investigated it more before jumping in. They are accusing creators of the shard have copied and counterfieted others peoples works, and claiming the shard is Cyan approved which they state never happened? From what I can tell over the past few days there appears to be a Shard War going on...so I don't know how much of this is true or how much is propaganda. Suspect

But caution should be taken for anyone joining any shard because it requires quite a bit of software to be downloaded and one is not sure if it's even safe.

If Cyan comes forward and say they liked, then that tells me to ignore Pelishard.

In SL, check out Eder D'Uru (forgive me if spelled wrong) and Devokan (Right?). They're pretty cool. If anyone needs the links to D'Uru let me know and Devokan has a spot to link from in front of the Eder Gira linkin point.

OK!!!. I've jumped in with both feet to check it out...It seems they have covered their 'arses' to continue...I've been 'back' in the cavern with several people in the last week and the server is doing a great job, in my opinion...Most of the neighborhood is overseas, although they speak better English than I and I've not had any problems with this shard...

I'm not condoning the use of this opportunity to meet and finally 'see' each other, but it seems stable and I've not had any issues, so far....

It takes a little while for the uploading side when you first get there and if you wanna see the MOUL side (I.E. Minkata Jalak Pods etc) you have to have the files saved from GameTap and use Drizzle to convert them for use....

I believe most people are using an alias log-on name, but when I'm on, I'm still Gandhar...

I'm NOT posting the links to several options to connect to this shard on this site for obvious reasons..but they ARE available...

Well, 9-14, and already some issue in the 'Pelishard hood' no server to be found....Not that I'm surprised, just thought it might last a little bit longer....Will check back in a couple of days....Shorah all the same!!!! Edited for lack of patience....Of course as soon as I post it gets resolved, maybe....Will try again in about an hour...I'm so waiting for Cyan to come to the rescue...LOL!!!!

YELL.. how do I stop all the e-mails..and such? My Uncle from NY is here to help but doesn't know the passwords to stop all this .....I have the forums that he was involved in. but the e-mails I'm not sure of....45,000 e-mails? 5 different accounts?...how does one attempt to stop all this..?
