| Let me just say that this news really knocked me off my feet. Things like this are never expected. Wolfie was one of the most friendly greeter guild masters I ever knew. I really enjoyed meeting him at Mysterium back in 2006. He was the only Liaison candidate I had confidence in. I'm sure there are others that could say similar. I guess the good really do die young. Rest In Peace man... We'll remember you. | |

| Although I didn't know him or have the pleasure of meeting him in the cavern, it is always sad to hear about someone you know if only by their words passing. Rest in peace. | |

| Any community as big as ours will have all sorts of life events -- happy and sad. This is one of the sad ones. Just because our community is made of people who have never physically met IRL does NOT mean that our losses are any less painful. I do not think there is any other "online game" that can boast this level of community spirit, pride or connection.
The "deep city of URU" is truly a global village, and the loss of any villager affects us all.
Strangely enough, the other night while playing URU:CC I had this vision of what I want in an afterlife -- a Relto of my own with a full bookshelf. Hell, of course, would be solo mode with only myself for company in eternity and a shelf of puzzles that I can not solve on my own. Heaven -- well, that would be to find all of you waiting in the bevin to help me, to help each other, to explore beautiful worlds forever. Not sure what theology this fits, but it works for me.
May CAGrayWolf find his way to a well-stocked Relto and many ethereal worlds of explorers. | |
