My Father...as you know as Gandhar had a set back yesterday....Mild as he says it is...a Heart attack is a heart attack.....I just am about crazy between Mom and Dad anyway...and then this....Mom told me to go stay here with Dad for a while to make sure he is alright.....my work in school will have to wait awhile.....Oh? He just yelled at me again....make sure that MyssTerries Bevin gets an answer to keep it going? I'm thinking it might be the original site...I'll try to be back on later tomorrow.....

Thank you for your reply...WE are OK...Hmmm...He's up and being a real you-know-what...I'm about to go out of my skull but I'm OK too...The doctors say that it was just a 'Wake-Up Call'...Start eating better, limit the alcohol and NO MORE SMOKING!!! I'm all for that.....So far it's been alright but I can feel the angst on the no-smoking thing...He never really smoked THAT much as he never smoked in the house...He said about a half pack a day...But then he told me he use to smoke over two packs a day before I was around...He's 53 and starting smoking at age 16...I'm 15 and never saw him smoke around me....I guess I could do the math but then again...it's my worst subject...I'll be back again tomorrow (on-line) ...I should get back to schoool on Monday if everything is still up...See you all later....bye

Ah, yes, Gandhar, we're at that age - I'm 55, and I smoke too. I haven't been able to quit yet either, but hope to soon. Have to. We're at the age where we've got to quit doing the things we did for so long

I think it was Mickey Mantle who said 'if I knew I was going to live this long, I'd-a taken better care of my body'.

Hope you feel better, and come thru this fine Gandhar. You too, Charura - take care, don't let yourself get too stressed. Your dad's going to be a pain in the arse for a while - a heart attack can make you feel so vulnerable.

A very young friend of mine -- only 39 -- got his wakeup call last year. Major heart attack. Now only 40 he has quit smoking (always a good idea) and has a pace maker. Lucky for me heart disease is something I have to worry about before I hit 80 if my parents are examples (both 82).

Gandhar, no more climbing around URU without flymode on. We don't want you to strain yourself.
