Shorah all.
I was in the town when Phill came.I ask him many times to confirm me positive or negative if the 'he' who will come is the Great King.Of course he didnt answer not only to me but to everybody.
After he leaved we discussed what he told with some explorers when suddently i had a idea which seamed crazy at least at the beggining (for me).
A month ago i read an old post where ,if i understand correct, Phill told very clearly (for me) that the Great King is alive and he will come.
Somewhere i read (but i dont remember where) that 'the daughter of the daughter will live in peace' (something like that , help needed and it is welcomed).
And then suddently.......
What if the Great King is alive and Yeesha meet him and loved him and he also her.
What if they have a child!!!....a daughter!!!!
What if they disagree about the way that they see things for example the Great king wanted the city to be accessible only for the d'ni survivors and Yeesha for all ,us and d'ni or if he wanted the bahros to continue serve d'ni and she did not?
What if she took the child with her after the "divorce" or the fight with him?
Phill said that Yeesha failed freeing the bahros (like in myst 5) that i can not confirm it because i didnt hear it personally.
What if the Great King release some bahros and command them (with the tablet "myst 5" to bring him the child?
What if our bahros choose to help defending her and the child?
All the above could explain a lot of what is happening.
I know that all these seem crazy maybe stupid or anything else ...but thats my opinion and i want to share it with all of you in order to start a discussion and who knows maybe we can find something that is close to the truth

ps: 1)excuse me for my english
2) I mean the King Ahlsendar (The Great King)
3) release is different than freeing a bahro according to myst 5 (at least for me)
4) i posted also at urulive forum as fijidreamer under History and myths

thank you for the interesting post, Dimirtios. Very thoughtful, as always.
It is written in the books at Watcher's Sanctaury, that "The daughter of the Daughter will have peace." It seems clear, when reading the entire text that the prophecies are speaking of Atrus and his family, with Yeesha being the daughter, and therefore, she will have a daughter.

Thanks buddie.
I read what Phill said and i spoke with Kaelri.
Phill told that the bahros are free and the freeing continues.
He told also that Yeesha failed to free them but now they are free.
Kaelri beleive that maybe Phill freed them which i have to agree with him in that.
The question is:did they want to continue to serve (the bad the great king and the goods us and Yeesha) because they are borned like this or some of them are controlled by something?

Check out this thread, Dimitri - more theories on Alsendhar - might not be directly related to yours, but interesting just the same

Dimitri, in reference to our conversation about Calam, I found this excerpt at the DPWR website. I know I read more somewhere else, and will try to find that site as well.

"Calam
» Posted by: Robert_Kosten On: Oct 15 2005, 06:28 PM

Appears In: EoA (mentioned)
Race: D'ni

Little is known about this companion of Yeesha during her path to become the Grower. He mysteriously appeared one day at the Library in D'ni, after Yeesha had begun to go mad with the loneliness of living in Ae'Gura alone. Clearly a Writer well-trained in the Art, he and Yeesha argued heavily on its use, as his training clashed strongly with Yeesha's creative approach. In time they started to cooperate and learn from each other, much like Atrus and Catherine did. Calam is said to have known all the D'ni knew about the Art at their fall and to have been a "Master", a "D'ni Writer of Ages", which may imply him having been an actual Guildmaster at the Guild of Writers. Eventually they trusted each other and became close friends. Yeesha at one point, after learning of the Bahro and the Tablet together, considered him to become the Grower one day.

Calam was murdered by an unknown person, whom Yeesha "destroyed ... in a fit of rage". Yeesha seems to blame herself for Calam's death, but the reasons for this are unknown."

Gee thank you all for the conversation we had in bevin.
And thank you one more time Rose!
Yes i am almost ready to beleive that the father was Calam. It is very possile.
If that is true then the war maybe is because the Great King wants the daughter of Yeesha and Calam for the reason to have a son!!!!!
Remember that d'ni can be married at the age of 25 and she has also d'ni blood!
As for the Calam's murderer .....hehe....(a new speculation) ...hehe...that Yeesha blame herself...hehe...who Yeesha destroy him(i dont know if she killed him)....hehe....what about......hehe.. Kadish

ps 1) for those that they dont know it i am name in urulive forum is fijidreamer

I agree - Calam is the most probable father of a daughter from Yeesha. Can't believe he didn't come to my mind earlier - it wasn't that long ago that I was reading up on him.

Not sure about the Great King returning though. Still isn't just striking me as a real strong possibility. Will think more on it though.

Ok i found it!!!
at last i found what Phill exactly told at the past.
Thanks Rose

Phil Henderson: no - i am up beneath the guild hall
an'nie: where is the guild hall??
Phil Henderson: it is the place of the king - his tomb. He will return
Phil Henderson: Douglas should return to see this - where did he go?
theGreatTree: looks like douglas is in realto
Pa'lua: Victor Laxan is in the Nexus.
Phil Henderson: this is where he was - i feel the honor of this place
Tutelary: Phil - why should we side with Yeesha? What reasons can you give us?
Phil Henderson: because she knows more
Tutelary: Knows more about what?
Phil Henderson: knows more than all of us - who would know more than her?
Tutelary: That's being pretty vague, and it almost sounds like you're trying to deify her. Does Yeesha want our support or our worship? She does share Gehn's blood, after all
Phil Henderson: no - do you deify your parents? They know more than their child

hehe i found also something that i didnt notice before i thought my theorie
Parents know more than their children

Reading the post about King Ahlsendar's belt in myst online forum i realise that what explorer Junee writing is something that adds to my beleif that the King is alive and is the 'he'.
I agree with that :if Jolatha wanted to prove that the Great King is dead then for sure she would have brought his crown not just a piece of a robe when she got out of the tomb.
Imagine the peoples reaction to such event

Ok i want to add more information after my 3 hours research
I found at the journals that the oldest age a d'ni man had been a father is 324 king Solath and 342 King Lanaren.
Giving the fact that the fall of d'ni was250 years before and that Yeesha in her journal in myst 5 is writting that she learn from a master and adding the info from the journal of King Rineref that he took the title of Guild Master in the Guild of Writers at the age of 90.....deep breath.....another one just in case .......and knowing that the meet of those two was within those total 340 yaers then......Calam maybe was capable to become a father.

Ps: i am finding interesting also the 'seed' matter that Yeesha had inside her(Yeesha jounal Myst 5) .Was it only all the d'ni knowledge or was a child that in the future will carry all this knowledge?

I am very impress for how much time you have spent in this information. Although, i find your new findings interesting, and supportive of your theory. I am a bit concern on how much info is been put from MYST V. But it makes me wonder..

Dimitrios,
I was standing next to Dr. Watson last month, when he publicly stated: "Yeesha does not have a child."

From the Watcher’s Words, Section 5:

Quote:
Under the sun is the bringer of destruction.
To the wound the bringer of pride returns.
But the son of the son will carry the burden.
And his wife will face the storm.
Give him a pen, and he will plan.
Give her a pen, and she will dream.
And a daughter will carry the burden of her father.
And the daughter of the daughter will live in peace.

The thinking has long been that the last line up above indicates that Yeesha has a daughter. Now that Watson has said no, she doesn’t have any children, I wonder what that phrase means? Did she have a daughter at one time, and the daughter died? Did she never have children, as Watson indicated? Does that passage not relate to Yeesha after all?

Any ideas?

So where does this play in the foray of Yeesha and the lost city of D'ni?

I think those words apply to her. Perhaps she just hasn't had a daughter yet.

Speaking of deification, we tend to regard Dr. Watson's words as dicta from the lips of the gods...but is it possible that he just doesn't know of any child? He can be wrong.
