About our Friend Gandhar

Charura came on Gandhar's account this afternoon and made this post in the Pelishard thread:

"^This is not a good note...last evening my poppa past cause of a heart issue...I'm alerting all the forums that he frequented...darn it... he loved this game...Say goodbye................I'm sorry...can't stay very long..........Logging out on a 'bad note unfortunately"


So sad! I keep staring at the pictures he made me for M'nine and wishing...

It's especially difficult when these things happen so suddenly and unexpectedly.
Still missing the game too, but remember some fun times. Remembers the "coning party" we had the one day in the bevin with a few people and him worrying about how Charura might feel about our moving the cones she had neatly stacked away previously taking care of the bevin. Our prayers are with the family in this difficult time.
I finally figured out my password to get in here again.

My father is at rest (Had the funeral yesterday) and my uncle has been going through all the files and CD's he 'had' OMG.
I need help here...How do I make a folder for all the storys and such and send them?...Jaunpur (separate story line), in the Cleft, out of cleft, it is amazing how much he work on this....

Are these things you want developed out in his name? If so, I can tackle that project for you. I can make a website for them. I'm also at guild of writers, although I've been silent. I can come out of silence there if there's more things that need working on.

He helped me by being a reader for mine, so I don't mind being able to return the favor for him.

I'll pm you an email to use for me if that's what you want. And my physical address should you need it.

Your father will be missed by many of us, though we may not have known him in person. His name was among those added to the memorial in the game for explorers we've lost. I see you already have a KI ID#, so you may have already seen it, but if not, it's in the city near the "Kahlo Pub", half way up the main staircase on the left and over some rubble. It is just a small token of our apprecation for your father's contributions to the community over the years.

The world of the surface is not that far away from that of the Cavern. Seeing Gandhar's name on the memorial is wonderful, but so much better if we could have him back again. I know that is what is in Charura's heart. A bevin of friends is no replacement for a beloved father, but we will do our best.

Every donation you make to Cyan keeps URU going and every time your donation names Gandhar he becomes ever more part of the Cavern he loved.

I'm not going to let this thread fade away nor my memories...It's almost been two years since my beloved father left me to continue my life...unbelievable to me for I am still remembering all he gave to me...

Please... At some point raise your glass not just to him but to the community he adored....I love all you guys and I know he did consider us a community among ourselves...

I sent a reminder in MOUL(a) for those that stilll are around...and on the forum...
