I just finished the remembrance page I talked about. I could easily fit in more pictures and text. Would love to have more quotes from Gandhar and a paragraph from some others providing a memory or tribute to him.

I want to add a memorial to La Casa. This can be a special piece of art on a wall in one of the rooms, or could be an entire book in the library. Or both.

For now I will add a picture in one of the rooms and will start collecting images for a book.

I realize these are just tiny gestures, but they will be out there for the URU community to find and appreciate. Gandhar will be remembered and I hope our efforts will give some comfort to Charura and her family.

One of the graphics I have on the page is his favorite spot in-game. That or the "perhaps the ending has not yet been written" pic seems important to him.

Or a custom one.

I was wondering...was he in the bevin pic our banner has?

Here is the memorial in http://www.webmousepublications.com/uru-website/la-casa/foyer/memorial.html

I am going to miss him. If the Cavern ever opens again and they re-establish the memorial in the city, we can make certain that Gandhar's name is on it. Until then, perhaps it is enough that we remember him and share the memory with others.

Thanks. In time I will put together a book of Gandhar's images either for La Casa's library or to be tucked away in one of the rooms for explorers to find.

I had reason to contact Arrandbee on another matter and told him about Gandhar. He sends his sincere condolences to all, but most especially to Charura. Someday I hope there will be another Cavern with another memorial so we can add his name there.

In my effort to put together an online book of Gandhar's images, if anyone has suggestions about their favorites let me know by sending me the image link.

I'm sure I'll have some things I can give you when Charura sends me his gaming files and cds. She said it would be after the holidays.

For those who are involved in Second Life, please visit ms. isis (Issis Ceriano in SL) new gallery in Tokatah Alley. In addition to original artwork there is a wonderful memorial to Gandhar on the balcony.

The time may be coming for our return to the Cavern. If DRC erects a memorial again, let us be certain that Gandhar's name is on it.

What a rememberance I had this year in the city on Father's day...After the RL one... I made sure to visit the place he loved so much....I have to admit..I don't have the zeal for the cavern that he had but I do remember all of you that knew him as I was getting 'of age'...Thank you all again for the honor and pleasure of meeting you all at some point or other...I can't think of a bigger honor than seeing 'Gandhar' on that Memorial in MOUL(a) right next to the others that have past or been part of the gift called his favorite game...Please please please tell everyone including Cyan..Mr Fryman Rand Watson just everyone in general how much much that means to me.

Also I moved my stores in SL to a new location - with a newly designed memorial for him. Even has the complete Myst book library inside, D'ni banners decorating it, and the library floor symbol.

Rand has been trying to make it in more. I'll attempt to pass gratitude on if I get a chance to.

Charura, I was thinking of you on Father's Day (should have posted something then but didn't, I'm sorry). I'm so glad you visited the cavern on that day, and that the cavern he loved so much brought you some comfort. I'm sure he was watching you from above and smiling.

LOL betting that's not the only one....he was good at those one liners.

He always had a good sense of humor and was willing to share it, no matter what the topic.
