That Other Story Has Started

Well done. There are stories we can tell and many ways in which to present those stories. Cyan and GameTap are both missing out on the amazing creativity of the community. We have already proved that we can create story even outside the 3D environs of the Cavern. No grand server farms necessary.

Just imagine what we could do if we had access to the server farm? Scary/

I just posted an invite to our creative community to share their stories via La Casa's website. While I do not promise massive traffic, at least the story will be in a central location where anyone can see it. Depending on what you and Charura want to do with your story, we can make it a linear story in a book, or a non-linear story that has a book link to a site (or sub-folder on my site) where the story unfolds in whatever way you wish.

For instance, the opening shot of Zandi could have an embedded link on the book he is holding. Clicking the book loads the next part of your story. You can mix text pages with animated gifs, usually done so that you click on something in the text which loads the series of images. Those images may tell a story on their own, or augment something presented in the text. If you have visited La Casa and tried some of the visions you will mostly see images from URU, but in a couple of places are images that are hints to the age of Refuge -- the place where KoHama ni D'ni went after Elias Zandi's death. Refuge is far beyond my ability to create, but I can still give ideas about what it is like and in time when the tech allows, there will be an age to explore.

Have a look around La Casa to see what Isis and I have managed so far using only the most basic techno-skills in graphics, animated gifs, embedded links, music and HTML. I would love to add more material from the site, but at present I am so busy with RL that I can not do much creative stuff that isn't based on the Civil War . . .

That all sounds neat. We choose to keep it here...in the forums, until we can actually dance and tell stories the way we use to.
