Hello all,

Well, it's been a while since I wandered into my D'ni contacts folder. I had almost forgotten it was there.

It feels a bit strange to be posting to you all after so long. I have missed our conversations in the bevin as well as our adventures in the Ages. The road is still a'winding and I have tried to keep busy after the closure of the Cavern.

Let's see. I became a Master Mason in a local Masonic Lodge. (Hope #145) It is a very rewarding thing to do something that allows me to help the community through charity.

I have been active in the Steampunk movement. I absolutely love the idea of it! I have met all sorts of creative souls and in a small way, it allows me to keep the spirit of D'ni alive. I'm working on a few artifacts to bring into the Steampunk universe from our own lost Uru to help people remember the lessons we've learned in the Ages. I get a lot of compliments from folks on the Journey Cloth and Kenen Gor Manifesto replicas I display proudly in my living room. I will be adding more as I can get enough concept art to make something.

Also, the goggles go over really well here. Smile

My old PC isn't fleet of foot nor quick of mind enough to run all of the open source Age authoring stuff so my exposure to the "future" of MOUL is restricted to what I read on the forums occasionally. Besides, what's the use of being in the bevin again if nobody else is there to talk to?

Health is good thus far. It's been very hot and humid here in Louisiana lately. I walk everywhere due to my visual impairment, so you can imagine. It does allow me to remain in decent shape.

I've been reading a lot of H.P. Lovecraft lately. My favorite author.

Well, I've come to a halt on my thought processes. I need to make some coffee. Miss you all and hope you are well. I'll try to drop by more often to check in.

Hey! Great to see you again, David.

Not sure about your PC, but it may play Second Life. If so, there are bunches of URU people in there. Friend me if you do get in. Isssis Ceriano is my avvie name there.

If not, check out our threads below. Always willing to exchange messages here, and pay particular attention to the Friends of the Fissure threads. Our area is a web-based venture and you can use any browser with it.

Welcome back David. That steampunk movement sounds cool maybe when we get the source codes a few of your steampunk friends will visit the cavern. We need creative folks for new ages.
