Tell me if I'm wrong in this theory.

I clicker train animals, and one of the things we teach the animal is to touch something with their nose. So, if I clicker train a horse to touch a linking panel, that horse will link just like humans, right?

So, if I'm on the horse at the time, I link too, right?

I'd imagine that's how it'd work. The D'ni used to use Ages to farm and gather their foods. I would imagine that anything that touches the linking image will link to that Age.
