From Robyn Miller's Blog at http://tinselman.typepad.com/tinselman/2009/06/announcing.html

Quote:Just a quick note... after a long absence, the Myst and Riven soundtracks will soon be available again. Give it about 4 - 6 weeks and you'll be able to find them at most online stores, such as: Itunes (U.S. and Internationally), Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, IMVU, Lala, Shockhound, and Amie Street.

I'll let you know when they're out.

I have been playing one of those "find the object" games and while it isn't URU, it is a pleasant distraction. I can not make anything quite as elaborate I think that as a group we can come up with some equally interesting puzzle pages.

I am working with flat graphics and HTML. You folks may have a better way to do this but what I am considering is taking an image from URU then layering in other objects or elements that don't belong there. I use an image mapper program to make ...

Right now I can tell you that I have hidden an animated book in one of the locked bedrooms. The game at present is to see if you can lay hands on this book and if the quest for it is too hard or too easy (although after getting through Kadish I can't see that anything I can ever do will ...

Hello, my friends. Thankye to Myss Terrie for her warm welcome.

The inner spark of this community never ceases to amaze me, you know that?

I regret that I've been gone for... must be a year and more now. After that chaotic week when Yeesha returned, and it seemed clear that the cavern was headed for yet another closure, I decided to - how should I say it - pursue some tasks I'd been neglecting. It certainly helped to have access to the Myst book again. I'll probably tell the tale eventually. ...

For reasons that make my head hurt, I do not hear the music that is supposed to be there on some pages, nor can I always see what is going on.

Sorry to have been away for a bit, but I have been very busy. I am writing an historical novel which is always an emotionally taxing job for me. I get to liking my characters, but because this is history in the end they must die -- and this being about the Civil War they will mostly die young and unluckily.

Also it is coming time for my elder niece Erin's birthday and I am making my annual dress extravaganza of silk and lace and ribbon and all manner of Victorian excess.

But I try ...

Well, I had planned on being there, but finances and a little incident with my car meant that I had to cancel. The car thing involves my son Ian learning to drive which in Maryland requires 60 hours behind the wheel before taking the driver's test. At the conclusion of the first hour he took a corner too fast and ground the undercarriage of the Ford Taurus wagon to about $4000 in damages. Only 59 more hours to go . . .

So I only got the car back very late on Thursday and by then knew ...

Moving from the old forum to the new one is a big job. Ms. isis has been an absolute angel in all her work with getting the structure set-up. Of course, we could just let the two of us (being me and isis) move EVERYTHING from the old site to the new one, but it sure would be a neighborly gesture if folks would undertake the moderator function.

It really isn't any more terrifying than doing death leaps off the bridge in Aegura to grab that last pesky marker. For now each mods would be ...

Shorah, folks!

Welcome to Myss Terrie's official neighborhood bulletin board! The idea is to have a real-world presence where members of Myss Terrie's Bevin can stop by to post messages, send each other email, tell stories, swap hints and tips, or (as in my case) just goof-off while we're supposed to be working! ...
